Challenges
- Upgrade existing Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to take advantage of new features, such as workflow approvals, automatic order tracking, and payment scheduling.
- Integrate all gear manufacturing processes, such as purchasing materials and monitoring production, into a single ERP system.
- Access information, such as order status and available inventory, to generate more detailed financial reports with minimum manual intervention.

Chain-Sys Solution
Chain-Sys offered Shanthi Gears appLOAD productivity suite to load their master transactions and setup data into Oracle EBS R12. appLOAD was used for the initial data conversion. Shanthi Gears saved substantial time and money over the traditional method of data loading. appLOAD is used as an end user tool for Oracle EBS R12 data management in scenarios such as Customer Cleanup, Supplier Update, Mass Item Update, Cost Update, Human Capital Management Records for over 70 countries.
Results
